The Magic South experience starts with an evening long tail cruise along the Tapee River whereby its highlight is where we gather at the river bank along the Sonneratia caseolaris tree, commonly known as the mangrove apple or perepat. These trees are often found in mangrove forests and along riverbanks in tropical and subtropical regions. They provide an ideal habitat for fireflies, which are attracted to these areas due to the abundance of moisture and the presence of organic matter that supports their larvae. The sight of fireflies lighting up the mangrove trees along the Tapee River is a popular and enchanting attraction in Surat Thani.

Khao Sok National Park – Nature's Masterpiece

Within Khao Sok lies Cheow Lan Lake, a 185-square-kilometers (or 71 mi-square) man-made marvel that exudes natural beauty. This largest sweet water lake was comission by King Rama IXemerald-green waters of the lake are dotted with floating bungalows, offering a unique and tranquil stay amidst nature. Paddle through the calm waters on a kayak or take a long-tail boat tour to explore the lake's hidden coves and caves. Each moment here is a testament to the serene beauty that Surat Thani has to offer. In teh Magic South Experience Day-2 we will visit this reservoir and have lunch in one of Thailands most beautiful view points watching over the Rajjaprabha Dem.
